Spotlight launches its Impact Report 2019-2023

21 September, 2023 | 1 minute read

Spotlight on Corruption is four years old this month. We’ve done a lot in that time. So much in fact that we’ve wrapped up a summary of our achievements in our brand new Impact Report that we’re delighted to be able to share with you.

Whether it is helping to close down the UK’s Golden Visa regime, contributing to the imminent major overhaul of the UK’s corporate criminal liability rules or our monitoring and forensic analysis of the role of the courts in tackling corruption, we’re proud of how much our small team has been able to achieve in such a short time.

But we haven’t lost any of the hunger to do more – to make further progress on the issues we’ve championed, to find new areas of work where we can deliver meaningful change and to continue shining a light on places that others would rather were kept in the dark.

Of course, we wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without a brilliant support network – our trustees, our advisory board members, our associates and, perhaps most of all, our funders. Without their support none of this would have been possible. But these last four years have shown that significant change can be achieved and with continued support we are confident that we will be able to realise even more opportunities to end the UK’s role in corruption at home and abroad.
