Kamila Kingstone leads Spotlight’s Defending Democracy programme. She spent eight years in the civil service, including roles at 10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office. Before that, she did some international election observation, freelance journalism, and spent a year as a teacher. She studied Human, Social, and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and International Relations at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
