On the lookout: Spotlight seeks expert consultants

4 November, 2024 | 1 minute read

Spotlight on Corruption is seeking to develop its bank of expert consultants who will work alongside us to deliver high quality, evidence-based, well researched briefings, reports and articles.

We are looking in particular for people who have policy and research expertise in:

  • The UK’s anti-money laundering regime and professional enablers
  • Investigative techniques on dirty money
  • Enforcement of corruption and economic crime
  • Lobbying and influence over the policy process.

Consultants must be able to conduct rigorous research, drawing on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis, and have an eye for detail and an ability to draw out the policy implications from research. They must also have a flair for writing in an accessible way that communicates complex issues to policy makers as well as ordinary members of the public. Additional skills in data visualisation would be a plus.

Day rates to be discussed, in the context of specific pieces of work.

If you are interested, please send a CV, a recent example of your writing (demonstrating your expertise in one or more of the above areas and your ability to write in an accessible style for a public audience), details of your availability, and a suggested reference to info@spotlightcorruption.org with the subject line ‘Consultants’.
