On 7th June I will be running my first marathon along a peaceful stretch of the River Thames near the site where the treaty of Magna Carta was sealed by King John in 1215.
Magna Carta is recognised as one of the most important documents in English history as it marked the road to individual freedom, parliamentary democracy and to the supremacy of law.
Fittingly I am raising money for the fantastic anti-corruption charity Spotlight on Corruption (who I also volunteer for). Spotlight’s aim is to see a society with strong, transparent and accountable institutions which ensure corruption is not tolerated and democracy flourishes both in the UK and globally.
Please donate to support this incredibly important work.
Thank you
Justin
