Our court monitoring programme is a core part of the work we do in tracking the enforcement of the UK’s anti-corruption laws. We closely follow corruption and economic crime cases to see how these laws are working in practice and to identify ways they could be improved. This involves regularly attending hearings, obtaining court documents, and providing analysis and commentary to draw out the key issues, legal arguments and policy implications. This strengthens the evidence base for our wider policy research and advocacy.
This database contains detailed case studies of major corruption-related cases that we have monitored in the courts of England and Wales. We keep each case study updated, and include relevant judgments and other court documents that can be made publicly available, in order to promote open justice and greater transparency about how the courts operate.
This tool enables you to search through our database to read our case studies and access court documents. You can either search for a case by its title or use the advanced search function.
