On Friday 7 March 2025, Spotlight on Corruption and the Royal United Services Institute organised a roundtable to discuss resourcing law enforcement efforts to tackle economic crime in the context of the upcoming Second Phase of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) due on 11 June 2025.

Bringing together representatives from key law enforcement agencies and Government Departments working to tackle economic crime, the roundtable (under Chatham House rules) sought to find consensus on reforms that could make more resources available to law enforcement bodies for economic crime within the tight fiscal constraints of the CSR.
