Sophie Chambers is Spotlight on Corruption’s Senior Partnership and Philanthropy Manager, leading the organisation’s strategy to build high‑impact partnerships and secure sustainable philanthropic investment for anti‑corruption reform in the UK. She brings over a decade of experience in international development, strategic leadership and evidence‑driven system change, most recently as a Director of Impact and Influence at Save the Children, where she oversaw strategy, fundraising, programme quality, MEAL, advocacy and organisational learning across a large, multi‑sector portfolio.

Sophie has a strong track record of cultivating strategic donor relationships and developing compelling, evidence‑based cases for support. She brings deep expertise in partnership development, donor engagement, fundraising strategy and strategic advocacy, and has represented organisations at national and international levels, including in media and policy forums. She has worked extensively with foundations, trusts, corporates and institutional donors, and is skilled at building coalitions that drive long‑term systemic impact. Her experience also includes driving income generation, diversifying funding streams, designing and delivering evidence‑driven programmes, strengthening institutional systems and leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful, sustainable change.

She holds an MA in Gender and International Development from the University of Warwick.
